Lesly Ramos, BSField Engineer, Turner Construction Lesly is a TELACU High School Upward Bound Program Alumna who graduated with an incredible 4.26 GPA! Already proficient at managing multiple priorities, in addition to her course load she immediately engaged with several organizations including the University Honors Program; Special Transitional Educational Program; Education Opportunity Program; California Scholarship Federation; and the UC Davis Construction Management Club, where she served as President during her Senior year. Proficient in BlueBeam, Revit, AutoCad, and Python, she learned about industry equipment through experiences like the Heavy Vehicle Simulator Operator at the UC Pavement Research Center. Her impressive knowledge and work ethic helped her secure positions as an Estimation Intern at BNBuilders and Project Engineering Intern at The Walsh Group, providing her the opportunity to assist with RFIs, project cost estimates, and subcontractor solicitation. Recently hired by Turner Construction, a high value provider of global construction services and technical expertise, she hopes to one day leverage her professional success as a mentor and to build shelters for people experiencing homelessness. |
