Those interested in applying must meet the following basic qualifications:
- Be a first-generation college student
- Be pursuing an advanced degree in Business or Engineering (Students pursuing other graduate degrees may also be considered at the Foundation’s discretion)
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Be enrolled in a graduate program full-time for the entire academic year
- Be a permanent resident within CA, IL, NY, or TX
- Demonstrate financial need
Selection Criteria
A select pool of applicants will be invited to interview, and will be ranked according to their ability to demonstrate a combination of the following:
- Outstanding leadership potential
- Remarkable record of professional/extracurricular achievement
- Commitment to the development and economic empowerment of communities
- Need for financial resources in order to successfully complete a graduate program
