Academic Advisor, Veterans Upward Bound Program
TELACU Education Foundation

Under general supervision of the Educational Counselor and Project Director, provides academic advisement and support services to veteran participants of the Veterans Upward Bound Program (Program). This position supports the Educational Counselor and the Project Director in the delivery and implementation of all Program activities and services.

Accounting Specialist, TELACU Residential Management, Los Angeles

The Accounting Specialist supports Accounting Department in completing various accounting functions for TELACU Residential Management (TRM), Inc. and TELACU Property Management (TPM), Inc. portfolio. The Accounting Specialist must prioritize their duties to reflect good cash flows for each of the entities. Any deviation/changes from standard processing, requires supervisory approval.

Building Maintenance Level 3, TELACU Residential Management, Monterey Park

Under general supervision, the Building Maintenance Level 3 performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs for assigned senior housing facility and upholds TELACU Resident Management’s (TRM) highest standard.

Building Maintenance Level III, TELACU Property Management, Montebello

Under general supervision, the Building Maintenance Level III performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs for assigned senior housing facility and upholds TELACU Property Management’s (TPM) highest standard.

Building Maintenance Level III, TELACU Property Management, Sylmar

Under general supervision, the Building Maintenance Level III performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs for assigned senior housing facility and upholds TELACU Property Management’s (TPM) highest standard.

Under general supervision and direction of the Project Coordinator, administers, coordinates and delivers Program and academic support services to assigned target high school participants of the Talent Search Program (Program). This position collaborates with the Project Coordinator to ensure Program services are rendered to ninth through twelfth grade participants, and to ensure Program goals and objectives are met.

Educational Tutor, TELACU Education Foundation, Talent Search Program

Under general supervision and direction of the Project Coordinator, administers, coordinates and delivers Program and academic support tutoring services to assigned target high school participants of the Talent Search Program (Program). This position collaborates with the Project Coordinator to ensure Program tutoring services are rendered to ninth through twelfth grade participants, and to ensure Program goals and objectives are met.

Executive Assistant, TELACU Industries, Inc, Los Angeles

Ensures that the offices of the Chairman and Founder of the TELACU Education Foundation and the SVP of the TELACU Communications Group operate at the highest level by providing a broad spectrum of creative, logistic and administrative support.

Maintenance Operations Administrator, TELACU Residential Management, Los Angeles

The Maintenance Operations Administrator Position performs assigned responsibilities for planning, coordinating and directing activities related to the construction, upgrades and maintenance of building systems and special projects at TRM and TPM properties. The Maintenance Administrator will perform general administrative office tasks and supports the Maintenance Department by maintaining an organized data base and being the source of information for the Regional Maintenance Supervisors.

Office Clerk, TELACU Residential Management, Los Angeles (Full-Time)

Under general supervision the Office Clerk is responsible for providing general clerical support to all departments. The Office Clerk will be exposed to the affordable housing industry. 

Project Advisor I, TELACU Education Foundation, Upward Bound Program

Project Advisor I is primarily responsible for providing support to Project Advisor II during study hall, recruitment events, academic advising, and college planning by 9th and 10th grade students, as well as chaperoning students during program activities. Under general supervision and direction of Project Director supports the implementation of Program services to assigned high school participants of the Upward Bound Program (Program).

Property Manager, TELACU Property Management, Azusa

Responsible for day-to-day operations related to TELACU residential properties to include; rent collections, tenant relations, occupancy, financial reporting, and the regulatory agencies compliance.

Resident Services Coordinator, TELACU Residential Management, Alhambra

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for providing a supportive, service-oriented environment to senior and/or physically challenged residents living at TELACU Residential Management (TRM) housing facilities. The Coordinator will be assigned specific housing facilities, and will work in conjunction with on-site staff.

Staff Accountant, TELACU Residential Management, Los Angeles

Staff Accountant performs monthly closings and maintains general ledgers, and prepares financial statements for the TELACU Residential Management, Inc. (TRM) and TELACU Property Management, Inc. (TPM) portfolio.  Prepares and submits budgets annually, ensures rent increases are requested as needed along with extending contracts with expiration dates.
